Welcome Back!

Hey everyone, welcome back from Spring Break. I trust you’re all rested up and ready for what’s next. Despite the date on the calendar, the weather in my part of the world – the Pacific Northwest – has swung from one extreme to another this past week. One day I was literally digging my car out of a drift the snowplow had left at the top of my driveway, and the very next day I was driving around with my windows down. Crazy!

But there’s no doubt we ARE headed for Spring now, the season most associated with romance. And we’re kicking off the season of love with an interview tomorrow by one of the Romance Mavens’ favorite authors, Christine Rimmer. Christine will be dropping in to chat about her latest Harlequin Special Edition release, The Prince’s Secret Baby. We’ll even be posting the entire first chapter of the book, so you can get a a tantalizing sample of this latest addition to Christine’s beloved Bravo Family series. Bring your questions and comments, ‘cuz Christine loves to visit with her readers.

The Mavens themselves are busy writing this week. Amy is putting the finishing touches on her contemporary manuscript, Mandy’s Marine. Nola is plotting a woman’s fiction piece. Kaylie has two new stories she’s working on, plus first round edits of her recently sold erotic novella, and Pepper is polishing a short story for an anthology submission. The other big news is that Kaylie will have a book signing for A Death that Lingers, at Barnes and Noble in her home town of Medford, Oregon on April 21^st. For Kaylie, this is a life-long dream come true, and we are all thrilled for her and prouder than we can say.
